Nov 4th – No Stone Left Alone

Rockheights Middle School will be participating in a special pre-Remembrance Day Ceremony in collaboration with the No Stone Left Alone Memorial Foundation at Veterans’ Cemetery on Friday, November 4, at 1:30 pm. Military representatives from CFB Esquimalt will be attendance. Following a brief
outdoor ceremony, our students will pay respects to over 2500 war veterans buried at Esquimalt Veterans Cemetery (God’s Acre). This will be the eighth ceremony of its kind involving Rockheights Middle School aimed at helping our young students recognize and remember our Canadian military members.
Students will be walking to Veteran’s Cemetery on Colville Road, rain or shine, with police escort. Please remind your youth to dress warmly.

***Please note: this event may involve local media coverage. Should you not want your child in media, please let Mr. Maxwell or Ms. Pelletier know by contacting the school.
